My beloved pet dog, a stray breed, was saved from the streets — he was the first rescue that inspired the concept of a rescue center. Witnessing a heart-wrenching accident where a mother dog tragically passed away, leaving behind her vulnerable puppies, deeply touched my heart. I brought both puppies to my place, ensuring they received the necessary care.

After much persuasion, my family finally agreed to let me keep him, and Sheru quickly became a cherished member of our family. This experience opened my eyes to the fact that Sheru was just one of countless dogs enduring daily hardships — and motivated me to establish Saahas for Animals.
